History of Drive Train Industries
1945 - Family Business Started in Denver, CO - Specializing in brakes, clutches & industrial friction products
1956 - Entered the Drivetrain & Transmission Field
1963 - Brake & Clutch Service, Transmission Gear & Joint & Axle & Transmission were created
1971 - Installed IBM’s smallest computer in Denver
1973 - Brake & Clutch Service, Transmission Gear & Joint & Axle & Transmission were consolidated to Drive Train Industries
1975 - Denver Headquarters Moved to Brighton Boulevard from Market Street
1980 - Expanded the Denver facility to 165,000 sq. feet
2003 - Drive Train Industries becomes an Employee Owned - Company (Only 11,000) total in the United States
2006 - DTI acquires MER - Mobile Equipment Repair and Service centers in Colorado Springs and Arvada
2009 - DTI corporate offices move to 5555 Joliet St. in Denver and merge local service centers into one location
